Passport/Visa
A valid passport (6-month validity with empty visa pages) is always needed.The letter of surgical confirmation can be provided for transgenderred patients who are coming to have their sex change operation for applying female passports.
Visa may be obtained from all Royal Thai Embassies and Consulates General. For more information regarding visa types- purposes of visit, you can go to http://www.thai-la.net/visa/visa-type.htm
Passport holders from the countries below can visit Thailand without a visa for the maximum of 30 days stay with proof of confirmed onward ticket showing 30 days or less in Thailand.

Flight arrangement
The period of your total stay should be discussed before scheduling your flight.
I normally require 10 days for AM, 14 days for FFS and 20 days for SRS.
For FFS and/or cosmetic surgery, patients have to arrive Bangkok at least 2 night before their surgery.
For SRS patients, I require at least 3 nights prior surgery for the process of consultation and bowel cleansing.
You need to confirm your flight detail by fax +662-742-0845 or e-mail the full flight itinerary from your travel agency to our office within one month.
General information
Any female hormones, including spironolactone must be stopped prior to surgery,
2 weeks for oral tablets and 4 weeks for injection, to prevent the risk of thrombosis (blood clot in the vessels).
Aspirin and Vitamin E must also be halted 2 weeks before surgery as they interfere with normal blood cloting.
If you're smoker, please take note that nicotine can reduce the blood supply to the new wound and cause wound complications after surgery.
It is highly recommended that the patients have to stop smoking 1 month before surgery and also 2 weeks after surgery.
No need for any particular vaccination.
Please do not carry any unnecessary drugs or personal belongings in your baggage.
Foreign visitors may bring unlimited amount of Thai or foreign currencies.
For travellers leaving Thailand, the maximum amount permitted to take out without prior authorization is 50,000 Baht per person.
The current exchange rate is around 36 Baht/ US dollar.
Hotel reservation
It is my policy that the patients must stay at only recommended hotels (Bann Sirirama place or the Royal Princess Srinakarin hotel), we will do our best for transportation service and all after care service there.
You have no need to make a hotel reservation by yourself, just inform me which one you prefer and my staff will book the hotel for you (before and after surgery)
The Bann Siri-rama hotel (Bangkok Rama Place) is a luxury three star hotel with 22-25 US$ per night for standard room (not included breastfast). It takes around 15 minutes from my clinic and 30 minutes from Suvarnabhum airport or Piyavate hospital.

The Royal princess Srinakarin hotel is a first class hotel, situated at the doorsteps of Seacon Square, the biggest shopping mall in Southeast Asia.
It takes around 15 minutes from my clinic and 30 minutes from Suvarnabhum airport or Piyavate hospital.
The single deluxe room at Royal Princess Srinakarin Hotel has been reserved during your stay at 2,700 THB or around 74 USD per night, they don't have the room lower than deluxe. From January 1st, 2007
the Royal Princess Srinakarin hotel will change their rate for deluxe room to be 3,200 THB (around 88 USD) per night for one person and for two persons (twin/double) will be 3,500 THB (around 96 USD) pernight.
If you bring your labtop with, please contact the reservation counter to buy the internet package (600 THB/day or 200 THB/hour) then you can use internet in your room.

Transportation service
Transportation to and from the Bangkok international airport, clinic, hospital and hotel is provided for those who have already confirmed their surgery by the deposit and fax or e-mail their full flight schedule to our office.
Your facial picture is needed to send here before travelling for my staff to pick you up at the airport.

At the new international airport (Suvarnabhum airport)
Get off the plane and go through immigration, show your passport.
Folow all signs to baggage claim. Pick up luggage.
Go through customs (Nothing to declare)
Follow the exit signs, my staff will wait for you and show your name badge at your nearest exit.
