Passport/Visa
A valid passport is always needed.The letter of surgical confirmation can be provided for transgenderred patients who are coming to have their sex change operation for applying female passports.
Visa may be obtained from all Royal Thai Embassies and Consulates General.
Passport holders from the countries below can visit Thailand without a visa for the maximum of 30 days stay with proof of confirmed onward ticket showing 30 days or less in Thailand.

Flight arrangement
The period of your total stay must be discussed by e-mail before scheduling your flight.
Anyway I normally require at least 10 days for AM, 14 days for FFS and 20 days for SRS.
For SRS patients, I require at least 3 nights prior surgery for the process of consultation and bowel cleansing.
For FFS and/or cosmetic surgery, patients have to arrive Bangkok at least 2 night before their surgery.
After getting the details of your flight (local departure date/time from your country, loclal arrival date/time to Bangkok, your airline and flihgt number), you need to copy that original document(
s) and send me by fax +662-742-0845 or attached jpeg file by e-mail as soon as possible.
According to the time difference between Bangkok and your country (for example: +12 hr from New York or -7 hr from United Kingdom), you should reconfirm with your airline or travel agency about the definite local time/ date upon your arrival.Please be aware that the transportation service will be arranged only one time from the airport to the hotel or clinic.So if you provide a wrong date and/ or time of your flight, you need to get airport taxi from the airport by yourself.
Any changes in the flight schedule must be informed me immediately by both e-mail and fax +662-742-0845, my staff will do their best to adjust the new schedule for colltecting you at the airport in time.
General information
Any female hormones, including spironolactone must be stopped prior to surgery,
2 weeks for oral tablets and 4 weeks for injection, to prevent the risk of thrombosis (blood clot in the vessels).
Aspirin must completely be halted at least 2 weeks before surgery as they interfere the blood cloting function
If you are a smoker, it is highly recommended that you have to stop smoking 1 month before surgery and also 2 weeks after surgery to avoid wound healing problems due to the Nicotine side effect.
No need for any particular vaccination.
Please do not carry any unnecessary drugs or personal belongings in your baggage.
Foreign visitors may bring unlimited amount of Thai or foreign currencies.
The fluctuation of exchange rate this year is between 33-35 Baht/ US dollar.For the current exchange rate, you can browse to foreing exchange rate page of Kasikornbank, Thailand.
Hotel reservation
It is my policy that the patients must stay at only recommended hotels which are the Bann Siri-rama place or the Dusit Princess Srinakarin hotel, we will do our best for transportation service and all after care service there.
You have no need to make a hotel reservation by yourself, just inform me which one you prefer and my staff will book the hotel for you (before and after surgery)
The Bann Siri-rama hotel (Bangkok Rama Place)
This is a cheap, old fashioned hotel, the rate per night for single room or twin room is 1,300 THB (around 38-40 US$) per night for standard room (not included breakfast).
The Dusit princess Srinakarin hotel is a new luxury hotel, situated at the doorsteps of Seacon Square, one of the biggest shopping mall in Southeast Asia.
It takes around 15 minutes from my clinic and 30 minutes from Suvarnabhumi airport or Piyavate hospital.

The special prices for only 2009 are as follow:
The rate for deluxe room + ABF for one person is 1,500 THB (around 45 USD) per night and for two persons (twin/double) is 1,800 THB (around 53 USD) per night, the rate for deluxe room (room only, not include breakfast) for single or twin is 1,300 THB (around 39 USD).
Please note that the offer rate is already 50% discount but the patients need to stay totally for at least 7 nights (can be intermission during hospitalization).
In case your total stay will be less than 7 night and you still prefer to stay at the Dusit princess Srinakarin hotel, the current rate for deluxe room for one person is 3,400 THB nett.(around 105 USD) per night. The rate for deluxe room for two persons (twin/double) is 3,700 THB nett. (around 113-115 USD) per night.
If you bring your laptop with, please contact the reservation counter to buy the internet package (600 THB/day or 200 THB/hour) then you can use internet in your room.
Transportation service
Transportation to and from the international Suvarnabhumi airport, clinic, hospital and hotel is only provided for the patients who have already scheduled their surgery by the deposit and the surgery date has been confirmed.
For providing the transportation service at the airport, your full flight itienrary which included the name of your airline and flight number, the exact date/ time of your departure and arrival at Suvarnabhumi airport is always needed.Please fax or e-mail me as soon as you get this information.
Your facial picture is also needed for my driver to collect you at the airport, please choose a good one that look like you at the airport and send by jpeg file, size not more than 400* 600 pixels.
There is no transportation service from and to the airport for those who have scheduled for only minor surgery (total cost less than 2000 USD)
At the international Suvarnabhumi airport
Get off the plane and go through immigration, show your passport.
Folow all signs to baggage claim. Pick up luggage.
Go through customs (Nothing to declare)
Follow the exit signs, my staff will wait for you and hold your name badge at only Gate No.3.
