About the scrotal skin graft procedure
I consider the scrotal (testicle sac) skin as a primary source of the skin graft for neovaginal lining. Normally, there is some portions of scrotal skin left over after being used to construct the outer labia (labia majora), and these will be used as scrotal skin graft.
This type of skin graft is considered hairless skin. All hair follicles are intentionally cut away while thinning the graft with surgical blade at the time of graft prepartion during sex change operation, so the skin inside neovagina will be absolutely hairless.
The new recommendation for genital electrolysis will be focused on only the perieneum.

The skin graft procedure is normally done together with sex reassignment surgery and you need to take absolutely bed rest for 5 days during the process of graft taking.Unnecessary movement can cause shearing force which might make the new graft separate from the wound and then the graft failure.
The skin graft procedure sometimes may be delayed if the wound condition inside newly created vaginal tunnel is not suitable (for example: continuous blood oozing), however this is rare situation.
If the skin graft procedure is delayed (usually only 1 or 2 days interval), the piece of scrotal skin can be safely stored in a cool, stable temperature environment.
Prophylactic antibiotics are routinely used to prevent skin graft infection. The common symptoms of skin graft infection are high fever and foul smell or pus discharge or a lot of necrotic tissue from vagina.
If you have short and/or shrink and/or retracted scrotum, it is possible that the scrotal skin will be enough only for outer labia construction and there is no skin left over to be a free skin graft.
Be reminded that the adequate skin graft is really needed for the entire vaginal wall lining. If you have short and/or shrink and/or retracted scrotum, I recommended that you should prepare the fee 1,600 USD for additional skin graft (either groin or abdominal skin graft) in case of scrotal skin graft insufficiency.
