Sex reassignment surgery (SRS, sex change surgery) information
At the new international airport (Suvarnabhum airport)
Get off the plane and go through immigration, show your passport.
Folow all signs to baggage claim. Pick up luggage.
Go through customs (Nothing to declare)
Follow the exit signs, my staff will wait for you and show your name badge at your nearest exit.

My staff will take you to check in at the booked hotel or to my clinic in time if you have an appointment for consultation on the same day.
It takes around 30 minutes from the new airport to my clinic/ nearby recommended hotels.

Bowel cleansing process before hospital admission
It is very important that you must do your best to make your bowel clean and empty before sex change surgery as the operative field is so close to your bowel (rectum).
3rd day prior to your surgery date:
You need to change your food to be only low residual diet. (for example: soup, cereal, fruits, custard and yogurt) which can help empty your bowel easily by medication.
2nd day prior to your surgery date:
Continue taking low residual diet all day and take laxative pills in the evening.
1st day prior to your surgery date:
You are allowed to take only liquid diet.
(Liquid diet means clear soup, milk or juice).
Fleet enema is required in the morning when you wake up. Stong laxative oil solution (swiff) is required two times (in the morning and evening) for emptying your bowel.

Please note that your passport, original SRS recommendation letter and all necessary documents must be brought for photocopy and/or keep in your file.
Interviewing/ taking physical examination & preoperative pictures.
Consultation: Everything in details about the procedures will be thoroughly discussed.
Sign the surgical consent form(s) and finalize your outstanding fee.
Dr.Chet's stents
I now manufacture a set of progressive diameter of stents (vaginal dilators) made from durable clear rasin.
There are 4 diameter size of 23mm (no.1), 26mm (no.2), 29mm (no.3), 32mm (no.4) vaginal stents which are all 18 cm (approx. 7 inches) in length.
There are markers on each stents for checking your vaginal depth (at level 3", 4", 5' and 6")
All 4 stents plus Johnson sterile KY jelly in the colorful silk bag cost 100 USD (exclude delivery fee by postal mail).
Your surgery date
You are allowed to take only liquid diet before 7 o'clock and stop taking food & water after 7am.
Check out and wait for my driver at hotel lobby (usually at 8.30am)
The hospital admission and pre-operative lab work (if needed) will be at the 1st floor and the 2nd floor and then the nurse will take you to your room (10th or 11th floor).
Skin preparation (shaving perineal hair) and preopoerative intravenous fluid administration.
At operating room, my anesthesiologist (Dr.Weera) will do epidural block (under sedation) before general anesthesia and you will be totally asleep throughout the operation(s).
