Genital electrolysis before sex reassignment surgery

The recommended area
The perineum is the short stretch of skin between the anus and the posterior part of the scrotum.
According to my SRS technique, the perineal skin (1.5 to 2 inches above the anus as figured) is the only potentially hair-bearing tissue being used to be a part of vaginal floor around the vaginal opening. So I confirm that only the perineal area should be considered to have genital electrolysis before sex reassignment surgery.
For penile skin, I use only the distal part, which is already hairless skin area, to become the side wall of vaginal opening, so no need for electrolysis on penis skin at all.
Please be reminded that I use penile skin for only external genital structures like labia minora and vaginal opening construction, not inside neovagina.
For scrotal skin, all hair follicles are intentionally cut away while thinning the graft with surgical blade at the time of graft prepartion during sex change operation, so the skin inside neovagina will be absolutely hairless.Preoperative electrolysis on scrotal skin is unnecessary and may even result in scarring and thickening of the skin which would reduce its elasticity and vaginal depth.
For those who have had genital electrolysis on scrotal skin, stretching the skin daily can help maintain its elasticity of original skin and decrease a chance of skin graft insufficiency during SRS.

The recommended time (before vs. after SRS)
The electrolysis on perineum should be completed at least 2 months prior sex reassignment surgery.
I assure that genital electrolysis can be done after sex change surgery without any difficult since the hair located only around the vaginal opening can be easily accessed. (It should be done at least 6 months after your sex change operation.)
