STEP 1: E-mail correspondence:
E-mail correspondence is the gateway to exchange all information and also to request any inquires. All detailed information will be provided when we know about your interesting procedure.
Non-medical related questions will be responded by Dr.Chettawut’s business team leading by Ms.Som (Jittada K.), while your medical related inquiries will be answered directly from Dr.Chettawut.

For Facial feminization surgery (FFS) comments, Dr.Chettawut requires your close up face pictures (hair tied back, no make-up, and no eye glasses) in complete views (front, semi 45 degree, side and base view) as jpeg files with good resolution up to 1 MB.

For body contouring surgery comments, Dr.Chettawut requires your body pictures (including shoulder to knee level) in complete views (front, semi 45 degree, side and back view) as jpeg files with good resolution up to 1 MB.

Patients will be requested to completely fill out the “Patient Information Form” to clarify your health condition(s) and it is important that you never conceal any underlying health condition(s) which might impact the surgical procedure(s) or cause post-operative complications. It is the patient’s responsibility to provide, to the best of their knowledge, true and correct information in the “patient Information Form”.

STEP 2: Booking the surgery date:
Dr. Chettawut’s waiting list is long as he normally performs major operation(s) only one case per day and he will be definitely the surgeon who operates on you from the start to the end. When you are ready for booking your surgery, we recommend you to inform your preferred month of surgery and the surgery date will be selected by Dr.Chettawut.

Once the surgery date is mutually agreed, the 20% deposit sent by international wire transfer will be required within 10 days otherwise your surgery date might need to be rescheduled if the agreed date has been reserved.

STEP 3: Complete the necessary requirements and finalize your surgical fee:
If your surgery needs the referral letter(s) from your specialist, we recommend you to send the copy to review as soon as you get them in hand.

The required blood tests and x-ray need to be completed around 6 weeks prior your surgery date then sent all reports via e-mail in jpeg format for Dr.Chettawut to review.

The normal requirements are as follows:
1. CBC (red blood cell & white blood cell and platelet count)
2. Anti HIV
3. BUN &Cr (kidney function test)
4. PT & PTT (screening test for bleeding tendency)
5. FBS (fasting blood sugar)
6. Chest x-ray (Digital x-ray on front view only)

The below conditions are required additional lab tests and / or referral letter(s) from specialist:

-If your age is over 42 year, the electrocardiogram (EKG) is required (present in both EKG graph and interpretation)

-If your age is over 60 year, please provide more blood tests and cardiac evaluation as following:
1. The blood tests for Liver function and Lipid profile
2. The EKG with stress test exercise and echo cardiogram (including the interpretation from your cardiologist)

-If you schedule for FFS (Facial Feminization Surgery) which involve bone contouring (forehead contouring, jaw contouring, chin contouring surgery), the skull series x-ray (including the entire forehead to lower border of chin bone) is required.
(Digital x-ray for 2 views of skull which are front (AP view) and side (True lateral view) is required)

-If you schedule for SRS (Sex Reassignment Surgery), the 2 referrals are required from the specific mental health professionals (read more on the subpage- Required Documents for Scheduling Sex Reassignment Surgery)

Finalize your surgical fee
The recommended method is the international wire transfer done not later than 3 weeks before travelling, this is the safest way to finalize your remaining fee and we have sufficient time to track your wire and confirm you with our local bank receipt before you travel to Thailand.

The alternative to pay your balance is by either cash (accept only USD, AUD, and EURO in 100 bills and up) or traveler check (accept only American express check in only 100 bills), if you plan to settle your balance this way, please inform our office 3 weeks in advance.
